Depuis sa livraison mi janvier, nous avons concentr\u00e9 nos efforts sur la roulotte Libellule qui deviendra notre habitation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L’urgence est double :<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \n
  1. tester nos comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de bricolage, cr\u00e9er un r\u00e9seau autour de ce chantier<\/li>\n
  2. et surtout\u00a0 pr\u00e9parer un lieu d’habitation qui pourrait servir d\u00e8s cet \u00e9t\u00e9. La maison \u00e9tant en vente, tout peut aller assez vite.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    \n

    Pour le premier point, c’est une belle r\u00e9ussite. Vous aurez pu constater dans de pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents articles que l’entraide fait partie int\u00e9grante de ce projet et nous n’en manquons pas! Jimmy a fait 3 heures de routes pour nous aider sur la carriole Roulopia, Jean-Yves est venu peindre et donner un coup de main pendant de longues journ\u00e9es de travail, d’autres auront \u00e9crit un conte (Sophie O’Day), cousu des poup\u00e9es Libellule, Hippocampe et leurs petits Lib\u00e9campe et Hippolule (Laura).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

    D’autres encore, auront fait marcher leur r\u00e9seau pour nous trouver des panneaux solaires (merci Anna et Alex!) ou nous aurons directement fourni une aide technique pr\u00e9cieuse (merci Miguel et Faouzia pour la soudure!).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Il n’en reste pas moins que les photos que nous vous pr\u00e9sentons aujourd’hui ne montrent qu’une \u00e9tape lointaine de l’am\u00e9nagement final.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Il nous faut, en effet, revoir compl\u00e8tement le syst\u00e8me de roulement, les fixations de la tourelle (la roulotte sera rehauss\u00e9e) et du palonnier mais aussi installer l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et le syst\u00e8me d’approvisionnement en eau.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

Ce m\u00e9lange de genre rassemble Jules Vernes et une forme de modernisme fantastique. Un bon exemple est l’univers du film Wild Wild West (sans les machines\u00a0 \u00e0 vapeur!).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Since it’s transport down south to our place in January, we concentrated our efforts on our future habitat, the \u00ab\u00a0Dragon Fly\u00a0\u00bb caravan (roulotte Libellule).<\/p>\n

    The rush was on two fronts :<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    <\/div>\n
      \n
    1. to test our DIY skills, create a technical network to support and help us<\/li>\n
    2. and to prepare a potential habitat to be used as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n

      For the first part, it’s a great success. You might have read in previous article that help is there when need. We are well accompanied.<\/p>\n

      For instance, Jimmy drove 3 hours from Montlu\u00e7on to come and help us on the Roulopia carriage for a week. Jean-Yves stayed with us to paint and help long hours, others will have written the 3Dragon fly and Sea Horse\u00a0\u00bb story, one has sawed the puppets for this story.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Other will have opened their address book to find solar panels or provide a technical help themselves.<\/p>\n

      None of the less, the pictures presented here are far from representing the final caravan as it will be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      \n

      The actual chassis as to be rebuilt (raised for about 15cm, the axles changed), the crossbar has to be extended, so has to be the front platform. The electrical system is not finish, so is the plumbing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      \n

      We will carry on asking for your generous help to motivate our long days and to short week-ends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      First things first, we will need experienced welders for working on the chassis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      For now, we keep working on the habitat. The future decoration theme will be steam punk.<\/p>\n
