Deux novices et un cheval pro.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dans ce projet de vie que nous mettons en place, la place des chevaux est pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

D’une part parce qu’ils seront le moteur de l’aventure, tractant les roulottes et amenant les vacanciers louant le g\u00eete, mais aussi et surtout en devenant des membres \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re de la famille.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nous avons appris, depuis l’arriv\u00e9e de Zorba mi D\u00e9cembre, \u00e0 mieux se conna\u00eetre. Des d\u00e9buts avec les pansages, les premiers pas ensembles, les ronds de longes, au longues r\u00eanes, la relation \u00e9volue et nous nous comprenons mieux.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Reste \u00e0 dire que nous nous comprenons parfaitement, il y a un grand chemin \u00e0 parcourir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ces derniers temps, apr\u00e8s avoir fait r\u00e9nover le mat\u00e9riel de harnachement et avoir command\u00e9 la fabrication de traits, nous avons pu enfin commencer l’attelage… \u00e0 pieds puis attel\u00e9!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Les longues r\u00eanes, il faut passer par l\u00e0.<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Au d\u00e9part, on harnache le cheval, on le munis de traits et on tract un pneu. Pas tr\u00e8s glorieux mais tout \u00e0 fait suffisant pour se rendre compte que ce n’est pas si \u00e9vident que \u00e7a de se faire comprendre au travers de la parole comme via les longues r\u00eanes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On July the 2nd 2017, we participated to the annual party of our equestrian center <\/span>Centre \u00e9questre Equipia<\/span><\/span><\/a>!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This year, the theme mediaeval was chosen. Greg and Hervanne welcomed hundreds of horse men and women along with their families and friends for a day to remember.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As a thank you gift for all the help they provide us with, Florian will climb up the curtains, Zorba will pull alittle and Micka\u00ebk might well charmed the muse Euterpe.. <\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
\n

A modest show, Florian doing aerial silk acrobatics, Micka\u00ebl as a troubadour on his dressed up horse. During the day, we will read the \u00ab\u00a0the Sea horse and the Dragon fly\u00a0\u00bb story. You were also able to visit the roulotte.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In this life changing project, the place of our horses is central.<\/p>\n

On one hand they will be the motor of the convoy, pulling the roulottes and touring our caravan guests on the other hand, and for the major part, they will be family members.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Since his arrival mid December 2016, we have been learning to get to know Zorba little by little.<\/p>\n

From the very first grooming sessions, the first steps together, the round pen sessions, to the long-reining work the relationship has gradually evolved to a deeper comprehensive state.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are not telling we understand each other perfectly but we are getting there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
\n

Lately, after we had the harness renovated, the pulling cords ordered, the collar fitted, we were able , at last, to start real pulling sessions on foot at first, then with the Roulopia wagon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Long-reining, a none negotiable step.<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

At first, you harness the horse, then you fit the pulling rops, you start attaching a tire or a wooden beam. Not so enthusiast, Zorba preferred showing of with the wagon!<\/p>\n

We are learning that it is not so easy to be understood, find the right words, the right moment, get his attention.<\/p>\n

Getting our message accross the long-reins is rather a matter of imperceptible finger actions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
